Several months ago, the company launched the Team Kearns initiative, geared towards communicating the value a team approach brings to outlining and executing their clients’ strategies.
This website is another step towards helping Kearns not only communicate their message to clients, but ultimately providing valuable resources to augment their clients’ document strategies.
“While strategy and the latest document technologies are at the core of our business offerings, we realized that the true benefit our clients receive is from the team of professionals that deliver them,” commented Tom Pickens, President of Kearns Business Solutions. “Anyone can purchase technology. The key is having a team of people that understand how to apply the technology and are there to support its use in accordance with our clients’ strategies.”

Submitted by Darrell Amy on Mon, 07/28/2008 - 16:04.CopierCatalog.com, a service of Dealer Marketing Systems is happy to announce the addition of its new service module. In addition to
providing continually-updated product catalogs for copier dealer and printer reseller sites, the new service module includes a database of print drivers and manuals.
“We want to make sure that our dealers’ websites have everything their clients need in one place,” says Darrell Amy, President. “In today’s era of manufacturer-direct distribution, it is important for independent dealers to keep clients on their websites instead of going to the manufacturer’s site.”
The new service adds a database of user manuals and print drivers that can be searched. The content is continually updated, allowing dealers to offer an enhanced customer service experience.
Matrix Laser Care Updates Branding and Web Presence
Submitted by Darrell Amy on Mon, 07/28/2008 - 14:17.[July 28, 2008, Ramsey, MN] Matrix Laser Care is proud to announce the launch of their new brand and website. The new site features the company’s newest offering in managed print services.
“Over the past few years we have made significant investments in our offerings,” said Joe Garske, President. “The fresh new brand combined with the new website is part of our effort to communicate these new offerings to our clients.”
The company engaged ProspectBuilder.net to create a new logo and develop the new website.
“With the rapid move to installing color printers, our goal was to come up with a fresh brand that communicated the company’s new color offerings,” said Darrell Amy, President of ProspectBuilder.net. The new logo brings in a bright color along with an artistic brush stroke through the company name.
For the new web site, Garske wanted clients to learn about their newest offering, Managed Print Services. With this program, clients can outsource the management of their printer fleet to Matrix Laser Care. One low cost-per-page includes printer supplies, on-site repair and preventative maintenance.
CopierCatalog.com Provides Continually Updated Product Catalogs for Dealer Websites
Submitted by Darrell Amy on Tue, 07/08/2008 - 21:48.
Today, Dealer Marketing Systems announced the launch of CopierCatalog.com, a service that provides continually-updated product catalogs to office equipment resellers.
"One of the biggest hassles our clients have had is maintaining product catalogs," said Darrell Amy, President of Dealer Marketing Systems. "We wanted to find a better way and I believe we have hit the bulls eye with this offering."
Having updated products on a dealer's site is critical. While only a few buyers ever visit a dealer's showroom, virtually all buyers visit a dealer's website during the buying process. It is critical that dealers have current product information available on their site.
Dealers have traditionally had limited options when it comes to web product catalogs. The "do-it-yourself" approach typically ends up with outdated product on the site. This reflects poorly on the dealership.

Convince Clients to Install Remote Meter Reading Software
Submitted by Darrell Amy on Mon, 06/23/2008 - 15:39.
One of the biggest challenges a dealer faces when it comes to remote meter reading tools is actually getting clients to let the data collection software be installed on their network. Some clients simply don't know about the service. Other clients get push back from their IT departments.
You want to implement remote meter readings for two reasons. First, it streamlines the meter collection process, reducing your overhead expense structure so you can compete with managed print services companies. Second, this is the ultimate opportunity generator: once installed, you can learn about all of the non-managed assets at the client's location.
To help raise awareness and reduce IT friction, we have developed a microsite for Kearns to use as a sales tool. You can see it at www.remotefleet.com. The microsite highlights the hassle of manual meter collection, presents a better way and incents the client to sign up.
